Gibson Fretless Ripper Modification

No musical instruments were harmed during this procedure. When I got the bass, it had already been around the block a few times. Were it mint, I never would have performed the modifications. When I finally learn how to play upright, I may get a conventional electric upright bass and refinish this one. On the other hand, considering my age, I may never get good enough on an upright to be able to take time out from practicing to give the Ripper a facelift.
